I would appreciate if you could share some information on your country's legal aid budget - what percentage is it from the state budget and / or justice sector budget, how much is it per capita, how is it divided by civil, criminal and primary / legal advice / legal emporment categories?

The European Parliament and the Council of the European Union adopted on 20 October 2010 the Directive on the right to interpretation and translation in criminal proceedings.

The first project working meeting within the LARN effective defence rights project will take place in Tbilisi on 8-9 April 2011. Participants will discuss the findings of the critical account and desk review and will agree on the methodology for writing the country reports.
